Dear WUES Families,
Greetings!
Welcome back to the 2023-2024 school year! We hope you all have been enjoying summer, relaxing, and staying cool.
West Union is excited to kick off the year with our shared vision and mission to know, value, and empower every student to achieve their dreams! We believe that students are at the heart of everything we do. Our staff works very hard to create classroom communities that prioritize relationships.
Our 2023-2024 growth goals will be reading, language development, and social emotional learning. We envision creating a school community that is both courageous and compassionate. Most of all, we believe that families are vital partners in this important work. I'm excited to expand our family engagement this year.
Finally, you'll receive a monthly newsletter from me the first of each month. It will include information related to academics, events, and up-to-date school news. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us anytime.
Please join us for Supply Drop-off/Meet Teacher & Visit Classrooms on: Thursday, August 31st, 4:00pm-5:30pm.
Proud to be Wolverines!
We'll see you soon!
Sincerely,
Juliet Hong
