At Lenox, the vegetative corridor was degraded. Restoration of this corridor is important to maintain various ecological functions for water quality and filtration.

Photos 1 and 2: Students arrived to new flexible furniture on the first day of school. Some classrooms use the "boomerang" desks (1), while others use two-student tables (2).
Photos 3 and 4: All the upgrades to HVAC ductwork and conduits are now hidden underneath ceiling tiles in the cafeteria.

The dropoff areas and parking lot have been paved and striped with markings. Landscape had been installed a couple weeks before. Final asphalt renovation on the street section of the bus dropoff (bottom left of photo) will be completed shortly.

Photo 4: all of the summer's HVAC upgrades are being covered up by ceiling tiles in the cafeteria and the rest of the building.

Excavation and grading of the dropoffs and parking lot are underway. The parent dropoff (top) is separate from the bus dropoff for added safety as well as improved queueing off of Rock Creek Road.
